SCTP Nationals asked that all states send in their top five scores in skeet, sporting clays and trap in all divisions. Nationals took the scores from each state and gave awards to individuals from that state. The athletes representing Michigan (all teams in Michigan scores were used), Soren, Jadon, Zach, James and one athlete from the Bentley Shooting Team. It’s super exciting four of the five top skeet athletes were from KCCL!
KCCL Orange Crushers took Third Place in the Nation for that award.
SCTP State Trap Championships in Mason, Michigan, Saturday June 29 – Varsity KCCL Orange Crushers took Concurrent 2nd Place State Winners! Congratulations! Total of 927! Soren H, Jake L, Zach B, Jadon B, and Grace C.
SCTP State Championship in Skeet and Sporting Clays was Saturday, June 15 and Sunday June 16 at the Detroit Gun Club. KCCL Orange Crushers brought home AWARDS! Great job team!

KCCL Orange Crushers took home many High Gun Awards on Saturday, April 27 at the KCCL SW Conference Fun Shoot. Congratulations to IE Andrew S., IA Cole M., Varsity Reece H., in Sporting Clays. While Varsity Jake L., IA Wyatt K. and Rookie Gabe M.took High Gun Awards for Skeet.

A healthy competition between teams, parents and coaches took place on the black course at Hillsdale on April 13. Orange Crushers head coach, David Held showed up with a 90! Assistant coach and photographer Larry Mennetti shot a 78, while parents Jim Palma shot a 65 and Cameron Meyers shot a 69. Everyone had a great time.

21 KCCL Orange Crushers traveled down to the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio for the week long event. A total of 275 teams from 26 states with over 2,700 athletes participated. Over 1.25 million competition shots were fired over eight days. Many athletes shot multiple events translating to almost 7,000 total event entries for the eight day competition.
